Boon Inc. Water Bugs Bath Toy (Review and Giveaway) CLOSED

If your child is anything like my son, he/she loves bath time. So I am constantly on the lookout for fun, new bath toys for my little man to try out. We recently had the opportunity to test Water Bugs from Boon Inc.’s bath line and they were a big hit!

Water Bugs are a fun little bath toy that comes with 3 floating water critters and a bright orange net for scooping them up. The bug net has a bulb-shaped handle which makes it easy for little hands to hold on to. And the bugs float right on top of the water, making for easy scooping. I carefully checked the bugs for holes and was thrilled to not find any. This, to me, is a big deal. We all know that bath toys that have air holes in them grow mold, which limits the lifetime of the toy to basically nothing.

On top of all that, and one of the best things about the Water Bugs, they are BPA-free, Phthalate-free, and PVC-free, which means they are completely safe for your little ones to play with. (Please note that all bath toys, no matter what brand, should be cleaned after every bath to avoid germs, mildew, and mold.)

We took the toy beyond just scooping up the bugs, and used it for counting and identifying colors as well. Overall, this toy is great, and I think it’s going to be a favorite of little man’s for quite some time. My only suggestion would be to either add more “critters” to the set or sell an additional set separately that parents have the option to buy if they’d like to.

Another one of my favorites from Boon is the Boon spoon. This little invention is very handy for whether you are feeding on-the-go or at home. It has an easy-to-fill bulb on the end of it that holds 3oz. of baby food and attaches to the end of the spoon. And like the Water Bugs, it is BPA-free, PVC-free, and Phthalate-free.
