Vive Vita Gripsterz/Bandette Review & Giveaway

A few months back when we made the transition to using all sippy cups, we went to a friend’s house where their daughter was using the same sippy that we had. It didn’t take long before one swiped the others cup by accident. I have had the pleasure to review a great product, The Bandette by Vive Vita, that helps kids distinguish which cup is theirs.

The bands themselves are very cute! They have designs on the front as an aid to help the children visually remember which cups are theirs. They also have a generous area on the back for writing. The material used is a non-toxic, strong band that allows the child an easier grip while holding onto their cup.

I was very impressed with the ways that you can write on the back of this band. First, you can write a message or name with a ballpoint pen and then rub it off at the end of the day. Or, you have the choice to permanently write something on the band by first boiling the band and then writing on it. This is a perfect way for moms to alert daycare facilities of any allergies that their child has and remind them to not put certain liquids in the cup.

The band fit great on the sippy cup that I was using at the time, which happened to be a Take and Toss. My daughter, in her age of curiosity, immediately started picking at the band, trying to remove it. Despite her efforts, the band remained on the cup and did not move at all! I was very impressed by the quality of this band! Once she was done with the cup, I was able to easily throw the band in the dishwasher to wash because they are both dishwasher and microwave safe. This product is going to be a lifesaver at our holiday dinners and even fits most cups that I own so we will be able to use them for years to come.

The Bandette comes in a pack of 3 and is available in girl and boy color schemes. They can be purchased at Babies R Us for $6.99 or at several other online retailers.

Vive Vita also has many other useful products available. The Bandle is an identification band that will fit bottles. This product could be very helpful at daycare or to write messages to your babysitter about how many ounces they should feed your baby while you are away.

Gripsterz is a way to keep your child close by while you are out. This product hooks on to your belt or other items you have close by and gives your child a fun buddy to hold on to so that they remain close to you to ease your worries about them running off.
