win! wacom I’m excited to tell you about very, very neat product that I recently had the chance to try out – the Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch. If you’re a student, into photography or any type of graphic design or just own a computer, then chances are you’ll really appreciate the Bamboo. The extra large touch pad and pen allow you easily edit pictures, add personal details to graphics, take notes, sign online documents, and much more.

Overview

Bamboo Pen & Touch combines the benefits of Multi-Touch with the comfort and precision of Wacom’s ergonomically-designed pen.

With multi-touch, you use simple hand gestures and finger taps to move around your desktop, scroll through documents, navigate the web, zoom in and out of photos, and rotate images. And because the active area is larger than traditional mobile devices and laptop trackpads, it’s comfortable and natural to use. Speaking of comfort, a pen tablet can help if you’ve experienced wrist pain from prolonged computer use.

pen & touch I’ve had so much fun with my Bamboo and it has really came in handy for a variety of things. I’ve used it more than I could have ever imagined I would. Aside from using it to browse the web and navigate my computer, I’ve also used it to sign blogging contracts from companies and partners, edit and touch-up photos, and it was especially helpful with taking notes for my statistics and finance classes this semester.

Set-up —

Set-up for the Bamboo consisted of plugging the USB cord into my laptop and following the step-by-step instructions on the installation CD…it’s really that simple. During installation you’re able to customize the side buttons as well as adjust the pen sensitivity. It did take me a little while to get used to the touch pad but after a few uses I had no problems at all.

One of my favorite features of the Bamboo is it’s portability. Once installation has been completed, plugging in the USB cord is all it requires to use the
Bamboo. It’s also very lightweight and should easily fit into any laptop bag or briefcase.

Is it worth buying?

Absolutely! I would recommend the Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch to almost anyone who owns a computer. It’s user friendly and would make a fun, unique gift for anyone! You might also want to check out the other versions of the Bamboo such as the Craft, Pen, Fun, or Touch. Look over the features of each and choose which is best for you. wacom
