Yummy review and giveaway! The Muffin Tin Cookbook, Funbites and Funky Monky Snacks!

I am very excited for this review!! I have decided to combine all 3 products into one fun prize pack, which will go out to one lucky reader!

First up is how to work at home

nCookbook” target=”_blank”>The Muffin Tin cookbook. This book is written by Brette Sember and contains 200 easy recipes that you bake right in muffin tins!! Each recipe has a little muffin icon on the right hand corner to tell you whether you need to bake it in a mini muffin pan, regular muffin pan or jumbo muffin pan, and there is nutritional info on the bottom of the recipe!! Before I got pregnant, I was counting my calories daily, so having nutritional information on hand is essential!!

In this book, Brette shows you how to create delicious breakfasts such as ham and egg cups (which serves one person, but can easily be doubled, tripled, etc…), coffee cakes, donut babies and even how to hard boil eggs in the muffin tin in your oven!!

Having a ladies night and you don’t know what to make? Page 28 will show you how to make spinach artichoke dip cups that serves 9 people, right out of a regular muffin tin!

The nice thing about this book is that its laid out great, provides a lot of information about the recipe, and there isn’t anything in here that I wouldn’t feed myself or my friends. There are no “strange” recipes that call for ingredients that I’ve never heard of either. With Thanksgiving coming up, I may actually make the Candied Yams recipe that is on page 128. I love yams, especially when they are topped with marshmallows like this recipe!!

This awesome cookbook is selling for only $10.38 right now on Amazon! What a great gift idea for Christmas (for yourself or to giveaway!) There is something in here for everyone, and if you have older children who enjoy cooking or helping you cook, this book is perfect to share with them!

Next up is FunBites!! Do you have a toddler, or simply a picky eater? Perhaps you are into Bento lunches. FunBites is a fun-shaped, bite size food cutter!

FunBites food cutter

The FunBites cutter is super easy to use. You simply place the food cutter on top of the food, remove the popper top and place it to the side. Firmly grip the handles and press down and rock back and forth 5-6 times to cut through the food. Then you insert the popper to pop the food out of the holes of the cutter. The cutter is dishwasher safe and made of BPA free plastic, and is made in the USA!

The FunBites cutter can be used to square up such foods as pancakes, toast, grilled cheese, pizza, watermelon, sandwiches and more! It’s not only available in the square shape as seen here, but it also comes in a pink heart shaped cutter (which actually contains 10 geometrical shapes to form a heart).

You can purchase the FunBites cutter right on their website for $12.99 each, or buy one of each cutter for $22.00, which gives you a little bit of savings. I think that this product would be a great gift for baby showers as well!

Lastly we have a terrific, natural snack that is gluten free, peanut and tree nut free (which is great for my son who has both of these allergies!), vegan, raw and GMO free and Kosher! Have you ever heard of Funky Monkey snacks?

Funky Monkey Snacks

I was able to test out 7 various flavors of these snacks (and I actually shared them with my kids…so nice of me!) and the kids also thought they were great! The flavors that I tried were: Pink Pineapple, carnival mix, bananamon, jivealime, mangOJ, purple funk and applemon. You can read about all of these flavors here. My personal favorites were the bananamon and the applemon. I am not a very adventurous person! My daughter (11) really enjoyed the Pink Pineapple (organic pineapple and guava) and the Purple Funk (freeze dried organic banana and organic acai).

I think that kids crave anything that is crunchy and they associate crunchy things with chips and snacks. If you are looking for a healthy alternative, these snacks are great! My 3 yr old daughter like the applemon snacks, but they were a little hard for her to chew, so I would say that they are not for children under the age of maybe 5-6.

Each ounce of Funky Monkey Snacks contains 3 servings of real fruit, and contains no added sugars or sweeteners, no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. A real, true, healthy snack food!!

You can buy Funky Monkey Snacks thru Amazon.com (you can get there through the Funky Monkey Website) and also by checking out the retailer locator located here on their site: Retailers

One winner from our blog will win all 3 of these above mentioned prizes!! (Each will ship separately from the companies) Please see the Rafflecopter form below on how to enter this awesome prize pack giveaway!!
