Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
This is a great breakfast smoothie, a midday snack, or an after dinner treat. Tastes super indulgent, but it’s full of healthy fats, protein, and whole grains. As with all smoothie recipes, many aspects can be altered according to your tastes.
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt (I used Greek, but regular would be fine)
- 1 frozen banana
- 3-4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 chocolate chips
- 1/4 quick oats
- optional: 2 ice cubes, if you like your smoothies extra cold
Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
Tip: Peel and slice bananas, then place in a ziploc bag in your freezer for use in all kinds of great banana recipes!
