There’s a lot of recipes out there to help support lactation and increase your supply. And thankfully, a lot of them are tasty! In the newborn days, I used to get hit with intense hunger around the midnight-2am feeding. I wish I had had this recipe then, because grabbing one of these from the fridge would have been perfect to satisfy my sweet tooth while helping my milk supply at the same time!

Lactation Support Boobie Balls

  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 ground flax seed
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/3 honey
  • 1 tablespoon Brewer’s yeast
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder

Mix together and roll into balls. Put in fridge to set.

Oatmeal, brewer’s yeast, and flax seed are the key ingredients in this recipe, as they are all foods known to be galactagogues (foods that promote or increase the flow of a mother’s milk.) For more suggestions, check out this post from
